Chapter 19: Things Fall Apart

Hello everybody! I have had such a good few days getting in touch with some really wonderful people who are keen on adventure, thank you for being so friendly and interesting.

Questions for people who live in England: would anybody be interested in
(b) some kind of London adventure on or around the 13th/14th of December or
(a) hosting 2 adventurers (Andres and myself) somewhere within cycling distance of Leicester for a night sometime in the very near future?

Here are some words about my adventure instead of scribbles: Alastair Humphreys interview

And here are some of the amazing blogs I have come across lately:
awanderingphoto.wordpress.com
blueyedview.com
www.getoutsidecampaign.com

And here is Chapter 19! Please excuse the odd format. Computers are hard.

Chapter 20 will probably take a little while (more than one or two weeks) but in the meantime I will probably be uploading some other cartoons and things!

  3. Thanks for including my blog! :-)
I am most definitely up for something fun and adventurous in London that weekend. I broke my toe and have been told to sit down. I may have gone slightly insane by then and will need to get out of the house. Drop me an email if you'd like to talk ideas redkelly324@hotmail.com !

    1. YES, so cool! I've messaged you on Facebook. Everybody who reads this - come to London and have an adventure with us. Kelly is really amazing and cool and I am much less complainy in person, I promise. And whatever we do, I won't be in charge of the directions, so there's that for incentive :D

    1. Hi Vicky! Without giving too much away for Chapter 15, the cyclists are actually Andres and I and we are thinking about doing some very brief adventuring around the midlands in about 2 or 3 weeks time. Not too sure on the details yet (I am in Leicester at the moment so we will be based here and go somewhere) but if you send me your email we could chat more? It's always lovely to meet fellow adventure enthusiasts!

  5. I'm just getting into bike touring, my own self, and already I've... um... enjoyed... some of the same misadventures you've enjoyed! (though not the wasps. no wasps yet. should I have said that?)
Great format idea, sweetpea! Loved reading all 19 chapters in one sitting. :) If y'all are ever in North Carolina, USA, come see us - we're warmshowers hosts (or will be if anyone ever comes our way!). :)

    1. Haha, I'm glad to hear you haven't encountered any wasps yet! Always a good idea to have some antihistamines handy just in case. North Carolina - one day I'm sure (I hope!)! Happy adventuring :)

  6. Wow!, you've wrote a fantastic and utterly brilliant blog that has left me with an ache in my jaw from grinning so much at your illustrations, I've just read the entire blog in one sitting despite having to get up for work in a few hours. I discovered it through your interview on Alastair Humphrey's site. I'm a warm showers host so if Andreas and yourself ever decide on a Scotland adventure tour (I'm south scotland-kirkcudbright) you'd be made very welcome.
