This is for you!

Hi friends, Chapter 19 is almost ready (will definitely be up before the end of this weekend) but in the meantime please have this thing that I made, keep it and use it if you dare:

(Inspired by the first two proper adventurers that I ever encountered, Tom Allen and Alastair Humphreys, who tell ordinary people that they can be adventurers too)

  1. So cool Tegan! I think I am gonna get an A0 print of this (if I may). I am somewhere in the "responsibilities arrow". Hopefully in some months the PhD will be over and my pocket will be out of the ICU. I think I am gonna start from Europe and find my way back home (Colombia). Happy trips!

    1. Thanks Ruben, of course you can print it! That sounds like a very cool adventure (Europe --> Colombia)! Would it involve a bicycle or just legs or something new and exciting?

  2. Would love to be able to print this and put it on the wall of the school where I work. Any chance of a high resolution version?

    1. What an awesome idea Sam - I think adventure promotion should play a bigger role in standard educational systems. I can try and email you a higher resolution version if you send me an email (tegan.phillips@gmail.com)?

  3. Do I someday (aka when in a few years when I exchange my bike and tent in for a real home with walls and all) have permission to print this out and out it in the enterqnce to our home!?

    1. Of course! But Shirine I don't imagine you'll ever need any adventure inspiration ever, it seems like you ARE adventure. Seriously guys, if you haven't seen her blog: awanderingphoto.wordpress.com.

    2. Ha well thanks! True, but what about everyone who walks into my home!? I'm sure some of them need some help realizing that yes is the only answer, and couldn't have said it better

  7. I'm so happy that you won Tom's competition and had such a marvellous adventure. Now YOU are an adventurer that can spread the word. Very best wishes for the future in whatever you do.
    Take care. Safe travels

    1. Thank you Liz :D I think I saw you on Warm Showers when I was looking at people around England and it said on your profile that you were touring at the moment (I hope that doesn't sound too weird that I checked haha!) but anyway if you are out adventuring I hope you are having an amazing time :) Thanks for all of the wonderful supportive comments!

  8. Ha! This is great. I'm getting ready for my first long-term tour. And this makes me feel like leaving right now. Still, I got to arrange a couple of things more, then off I am! Greetings from México
